Gender equality is an ever present topic in society. While starting the conversation is an important
step, what does the world where women and girls are encouraged to pursue any career actually look like? Women Tech Now is a vision for that future.
PLAN OF ACTION
To promote the entry and advancement of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), visibility is an imperative. Starting with
a poster campaign, women and girls can see action is being taken and vocalized interest will begin to increase. By providing an App and a Web site, Women Tech Now’s Online presence can connect women to an established social community. Simultaneously, this serves to provide peer to peer contacts as well as linking mentors to those looking for advice in specific fields. Seeing women succeed will foster a community of success.
